A new Kimbo camper for their Toyota Tacoma made it possible for this fun-loving couple to stay near the slopes during multi-day skiing excursions, but climbing over gear got old fast, as did the mess from snow melt off their skis and boots inside their warm camper.
The solution: SherpTek.
A custom-designed hip extends the space available for skis alongside the camper. “Beyond ideal,” was the phrase used as they moved ski gear from the camper to the new storage space behind the flank side. And there’s still plenty of room on the other side and in the rear underbody boxes for additional gear and tools.
The extended hip is just one of many special features on this setup, and we’ll share more in the weeks to come!
