An adventure is always more fun when you’re adaptable, and so is your pickup truck. SherpTek flatbeds and decks can be custom fit to any size pickup truck; Ford, Dodge Ram, Chevy, GMC, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, etc., or any other custom vehicle you are working on. SherpTek's versatility and durability will enhance your truck’s functionality and allow you to have more fun as you quickly switch out accessories that take you from work to play and back again in record time.
The modular system integrated into our products facilitates the quick and easy addition of interchangeable accessories — such as slide-out grills, lockable storage boxes and essentially anything you can dream up — and utilizes often-lost storage space along the side of the truck bed when your camper’s in place. Our fold-down flank sides allow for easy side-loading without making your truck look like a utility bed; infinite tie-down points keep your gear safe and secure; and integrated lighting makes finding that gear easy no matter what time you arrive at your campsite. And if a tow-behind trailer is more your style, our beds can accommodate gooseneck and fifth-wheel hitches while allowing easy side access to your gear through our fold-down flank sides.

A flatbed doesn't have to weigh 1,500 pounds to be tough. SherpTek flatbeds and truck decks are designed and precision engineered to be the lightest on the market by utilizing aerospace materials and construction to retain durability so you can haul even more to your favorite mountain tops. Our standard flatbeds weigh 300 pounds and are within half an inch of stock bed height, keeping your center of gravity low, yet they are strong enough to haul your 5,000-pound camper across rough terrain.

About the Founder
Ryan Goodwin's love for the outdoors drove him to a life on the road in 2009, first living in a sprinter van that he outfitted himself, and then moving to a camper atop his 1998 Dodge 2500 12 valve cummins truck, which runs mainly on waste veggie oil. Never one to settle for “good enough,” he always looks for ways to improve systems and the way things are made. His truck camper life is no exception, and that's how the SherpTek flatbed design was born. He created a design that provides ample, secure storage space while keeping the weight to a minimum, and is easily customizable for just about any lifestyle, whether your focus is on work, play, or both.
Ryan's not just a designer, he's a builder and tester. Theoretical numbers and laboratory testing are one thing, but reality is another, so he uses — and often abuses — his products to ensure function, quality and durability. Everything created at SherpTek is Goodwin-tested and proven.
